A short introduction to the Maldives and getting there Kanifinolhu resort The Eurodivers dive-centre Diving around Kani (coming soon) Maldives temps: Water temperatures around the Maldives stay pretty constant throughout the year at around a staggering 29C. Some dive in just a T-shirt, but a 3mm shortie or full suit is probably better as you'll start to get a bit cold after a 50-60 minute dive! Maldives weather stats:
The rainy season roughly starts in June and comes to an end in November. But I visited last two weeks of November and it rained on all but two days - and two of those days it rained ALL day. You pay your money, you take your chances! The viz is an average figure and will always depend on local conditions. Watch out for the coral blooming in late May - but if you're after Manta's thats maybe the better time to go! |
